GlobalCAD today announced the launch of an innovative
new range of productivity software for AutoCAD and other
CAD systems. GlobalCAD
Matrix is a revolutionary Windows-based software
application for the batch processing and conversion
of DWG and DXF drawing files from one format or project
standard to another. Project
Center provides network-wide drawing and document
management. GlobalCAD
Schedule enables the creation, management and intelligent
export of AutoCAD drawing data for schedules and bill
of materials. GlobalCAD
Organizer brings together essential tools for the
creation and management of AutoCAD drawing objects including
blocks, attribute data and hatch patterns.

GlobalCAD today announced the integration of powerful
new project scheduling tools within its flagship product,
LandARCH
Professional Edition. Designed to assist the user in
the production of bill of materials (BOM) directly from
drawing data, features include a new Attribute Profile
Manager and schedule export tools for Microsoft Excel,
Access and other file formats.

GlobalCAD announces strategic alliance with CADPRO Systems
Ltd, Autodesk Authorised Systems Centre for New Zealand,
for nationwide distribution of its software products
to the Computer Aided Design (CAD) market. The agreement
provides valuable penetration within the pacific continent.

The minimum system requirements for all GlobalCAD products
are the same as those recommended by Autodesk for the
relevant version of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT you are running.
The minimum free hard disk space required for installation
is shown in the table below.

All products listed are compatible with AutoCAD 2000-2005, AutoCAD LT 2000-2005, Architectural Desktop, Autodesk Mechanical Desktop, Autodesk Map and Autodesk Land Desktop.

Where available, please refer to the user documentation
supplied with your GlobalCAD product, during the installation
process. If you intend to install the software across
a network, please refer to the network document before
running the SETUP application.
Should your GlobalCAD product fail to appear within
AutoCAD: Firstly, check you have correctly installed
the software and re-booted your computer and that you
have no other applications running. If this doesn't
resolve the problem, close AutoCAD and locate the relevant
GlobalCAD software product name on your Windows program
bar and run the application entitled Install [Product
Name] Menu. This will attempt to reload the product's
menu entry and toolbar under your installation of AutoCAD.
If you are still experiencing installation problems,
you can post your questions on the relevant Support
Forum.
In the unlikely event of you wishing to remove your
GlobalCAD product and all of its system files from your
computer, complete the following instructions:
- Re-run the SETUP application as you did to install
the product
- From the Maintenance Mode display, choose the Remove
option
The Windows folder relating to the product (e.g. C:\Program Files\…\LandARCH) will still remain. This folder includes sub-folders that may contain library files and reports you have created and wish to keep. If not, simply remove the folder using Windows Explorer to complete the un-install procedure.

documentation supplied, together with the software's
online help topics for detailed information.

The Network Edition of your GlobalCAD product supports
all major network platforms including Novell Netware
and Windows NT Server.
In order to assist (automate) the network installation
process, your GlobalCAD product can be installed using
a LOGIN script command. Alternatively, each networked
AutoCAD user can run the central setup application GCADnet.exe
to configure their version of AutoCAD. Please refer
to the network document supplied with the software before
running the SETUP installation program, for further
details.
Ensure that all computers intending to run the GlobalCAD
product have read/write access to the specified network
location. This folder must also be available to each
networked AutoCAD user while the LOGIN script (optional
installation method) executes.

Technical support via email, valid for 30 days from
date of purchase of the GlobalCAD product, as well as
notification of upgrades is provided only to users who
sign and return the completed Registration Card located
within the product packaging.
GlobalCAD customer information remains confidential
and will not be disclosed to a third party.

The entire range of GlobalCAD products are under continual
development to ensure they maximize user productivity
and performance and to meet the highest quality standards
expected by our customers.
Subject to availability, incremental product updates
i.e. those that occur between official releases, are available
free of charge to existing customers. Simply Download
and Install the update to ensure
you are running the very latest version of your GlobalCAD
software. Your existing Serial Number, located within
the product packaging, will unlock this Trial Version
converting it to the full product. Please note -
upgrade fees are applicable for customers wishing to
upgrade to the next official release e.g. from GlobalCAD
Organizer 2004 to 2005.
